ARCHEOS: An industrial joint venture dedicated to supporting the energy transition
ARCHEOS is based on an industrial joint venture, led by the CEA (development and support) and NUVIA (installation and construction). A boiler manufacturer will join these two players to provide its expertise.
A subsidiary of the Soletanche Freyssinet group, itself a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, NUVIA is an international company that has been operating for over 60 years on sensitive and highly-regulated industrial sites. With its extensive experience in the nuclear industry, NUVIA supports its industrial clients throughout the life cycle of their facilities and operates in many sectors, such as nuclear energy, civil and military defence, and nuclear medicine. NUVIA offers its customers a comprehensive range of support, engineering and product services required for the design, construction, operation and decommissioning of their industrial facilities.
The CEA is a major research player, serving the French State, the economy and citizens. Drawing on world-class fundamental research, it provides concrete solutions to their needs in four main areas: low-carbon energies (nuclear and renewables), digital technologies, technologies for the medicine of the future, defence and security.
